I attend a large state university that has a main campus and several satellite/branch campuses that aren't as well known as the main campus. This summer, I plan to take 2 biochemistry courses at a satellite campus near my home, in addition to working and clinical volunteering.
My question is whether adcoms will look unfavorably at my GPA or application because I took biochemistry classes at a different campus? Will they automatically assume I did that just so it would be easier (branch campuses have a slight reputation for being easier)?
The reason I want to get biochemistry done over the summer is so that I'll be able to invest more time in learning the material while also preparing for the MCAT. I'm a sophomore now and plan to take the MCAT this upcoming fall as a junior.
Thanks
