Hey guys, im new here and just wanted to see your thoughts. I am taking the DAT soon mid october. I know im pretty late with the process but i figured id give it a shot and if i dont get in this cycle, ill apply for next cycle the right way early and stuff. But this is what ive used to prepare for the DAT, anything im missing you guys suggest i take a look at?

BIO- Kaplan, DAT Destroyer, finishing with reading Cliffs AP Bio

O-Chem- Kaplan, DAT Destroyer

Chem: Kaplan, DAT Destroyer

QR: Kaplan, DAT Destroyer, Kaplans SAT Math Level II

PAT: Kaplans (may buy Crack Dat Pat if i have time just really expensive i think its $200?)

QR: Kaplan

Practice Tests: Top Score, and DAT Achiever

Thanks for any of the help guys...been searchin this forum for a while now and everyone for the most part is really informative and helpful.

Alot of people said that the Kaplan pat wasn't up to snuff so I didn't really even look at it.

I found the Topscore pat practice tests to be sufficient for studying - the only thing they fell short on a little, pat-wise, was the angle portion. I found almost all of the angle questions on the real test to be more difficult than they were on Topscore (all angles very similar).

Crack DAT PAT and Math Destroyer are the only things in your list that I don't see and that I found really helpful.

I got a 22 on PAT after using Kaplan ONLY

Ok, if i can get through all my other material i will definitely order the crack dat as well as the math dat achiever (i was always good at math i just havent done any math since my freshmen year in college so im a little rusty) been studying about 8 hours a day and will continue to do so for the next 22 days or so

Don't depend on Kaplan for the PAT! The questions they had were significantly easier than on the DAT, and I felt very unprepared for that section of the test.

Good luck! :luck:

Have you already submitted your app and are just waiting on your DAT?

If not, make sure not to apply to schools that have already passed deadlines.

Chad's videos for o chem and gen chem really helps most people. It's the best you'll get for your money.
Crack Dat Pat is $100 for 5 exams, $130 for 10 exams. It is expensive, but I went from a 16 on my first CDP to a 22 on the real thing.

where did you find the crack dat pat for 100 ? I havent submitted it yet, getting the final touches on my personal statement, and my last letter of recommendation...should i submit my application before i take my test?

also, i just took a look at the chads videos for o-chem and chem... looks like the o-chem is about 12+ hours of videos and the gen. chem is about 16+ hours of videos...and i have no problem sitting on my comp for 3-4 days going through these and taking notes(especially because i find i actually learn quite well from videos like these)...but as you can imagine time is precious for me right now in my studies so my question is for those of you that have used chads videos...if i watched all the chem and o chem ones would that give me a solid basis for what i need to know for the DAT...then of course id test what i know with DAT Destroyer/Top Score/DAT Achiever and go over what i missed...any advice is well appreciated...thanks everyone
