taking the dat this summer for a 2007 applicant? and other related questions...

couldsomeone tell me if there is any reason i shouldn't go ahead and take DAT this summer (if i am planning on applying for the 2007 cycle).

if i end up scoring in the 95th+ percentile then it seems i could go ahead and maybe apply for 2006 entry without a bachelor's (i've got a 3.8+ gpa, and 3.8 science gpa).

and if i don't get in, then i can just worry about my application next year but will already have my DAT out of the way. are there any down sides to this?
