Some people have told me not to bother talking about what you learned while shadowing. Does anyone out there disagree?

I learned some pretty cool things about the level of teamwork, communication, and compassion that hosptialists need. I was hoping to talk about that.

Thanks

What? Why wouldn't you want to talk about it? It's one of the many ways you decide if medicine is right for you.

I have heard someone say that admins already know what you did...I think I just answered my own question lol...I think its good to talk about what you learned but its probably a waste of time to talk about what you did exactly.

I'm assuming you are talking about your personal statement? I think it's ok to talk about shadowing (I did in mine). It is all about how you write about the experience in my opinion, while at the same time avoiding many of the classic PS cliches.
