I am reviewing bio using Campbell and taxonomy spans roughly 200 pgs, going into kingdom-phylum-class-order for each of monera, plantae, animalia, fungi and protista.

I was comparing to Kaplain blue and noticed that with the exception of animalia, it is very rudimentary (only listing 2-3 of the main classes within a kingdom).

To which level does the DAT test to?

Thanks guys

When I took the Dat last week, there was maybe one classification question. But I don't know how other versions of the DAT are. I did study classification quite a bit using Campbell and zoo. book, though, b/c topscore and achiever freaked me out with parasite and some obscure chlorophyte (i.e. volvox) questions. Hope it goes well.

i took the DAT april 15th, and i didn't get one classification questio or taxonomy, so it all depends on the exam

thanks for the replies, haha, my luck I'll get 3-4 taxonomy questions

I had only like one TAX question on the DAT and it was so simple i couldn't belive it. Many people have said this. Don't sweat the Tax, focus on ORGO and Gen chem.
