How come the TBR bio chaps don't cover anything on evoultion? Don't they think it will be on the MCAT. Well according AAMC, it sure will. 😡

I actually want to know what the deal is with this. It seems hard to imagine BR being "insufficient" in a particular area. Anyone know?

I would just go through the AAMC outline and wiki it! meaning go to wikipedia or wikipremed and get my read/notes on. It seems like evolution has been on the exams less than 30%. Maybe there will be that one discrete question:scared: or there will be that one passage. POE! lol:laugh: ok i know this is serious because Im such a perfectionist I need to know all the info so that I can have at least a sound mind when it comes to a passage. Thank-Goodness for the AAMC outline. A lot of the study aids such as TBR, Kaplan, etc cover a great bulk of the information but they do leave out some specifics. Hope this helps.....as if you already didn't know what to do😛

Practice tests and past MCATs indicate you should know basic evolution. It is really easy. You can learn all you need to know from any gen bio textbook in a very short amount of time.

If it's listed on the AAMC outline, then it's fair game. As others have noted, the subject matter isn't too difficult and can be picked up either in a gen bio text or in another prep book (e.g. Kaplan).

yeah true....I've been studying from TPRH n TBR mostly..so far so good..but it's just annoying how there isn't one good book which covers everything outlined on AAMC...So i just study each subject n re-check everything from aamc outline..but IMO Princeton and Berkley make a best combination 😀

Yeah, that does suck. Maybe someone on this forum can be the one to write such a book. 🙂 👍
