TBR Bio section IX (genetic information)
Passage X is just confusing. The passage mentioned that "mitochondrial DNA are transcribed from single promoter........."
It is RNA to be transcribed, not DNA, or am I missing something from mitochondria system?

I am most confused from question 65 and its answer. "The mitDNA that codes for light strand is also known as the sense strand, because the heavy chain is nearly identical."

Can anyone help me with this, I totally don't get it....

Thank you very much.

well i don't have TBR book so I can't help you with the question. But I can tell you that DNA is transcribed and RNA is translated.

i don't know if this is relevant, but in some viruses, RNA is reverse transcribed into DNA. so unless there is some RNA somewhere?

also, i've heard some people say TBR is just way over the top sometimes. and i might have to agree, sometimes i feel like TBR is outsmarting themself.
