For anyone that has TBR-Physics part 1 on page 21, I have not got to understanding where the 1 and 4 came from. They are plugged in as the y in the equation for some reason. Why 1 and 4 instead of 0.3 meters and 1.2 meters?

its for Figure 1-10, I am not sure how they solved the equation

.3 and 1.2 is the same ratio as 1 and 4. they just do it to make math simpler..
