My question is from TBR gchem passage XII question 81 regarding metal purification!
Why is the book calculating their "E rxn" values kind of weird....
Ist E of the rxn= RED - OX
so for AgCl I would write 0.56 V
CuBr2 I would say 0.75
NiBr2 is 1.32
ZnCl2 is 2.12
I know the answer is the same in terms of least applied voltage..but why is their explanation different?
