Ok...i believe my quetion is independent of passage context, but for those interested...Chem book 1, Ch 4 , ?# 34: It states that the pH of the solution is 3.7, so the [H3O+] is 10^-3.7 = 10^0.3 x 10-4. Ok...how is 10^-3.7 equal to 10^0.3 x 10-4...well thats it, hope some one has an explination...thanks
