Those of you using TBR as your study source for the MCAT, is it just me or is there just a lot of information in each section? What are people's view on these books? Because I feel like the focus of these books is cramming a ton of information in as quick as possible. I'm taking the MCAT in May and I start a TPR class in March, is it a good idea to be using TBR for review before classes start and then using the TPR classes as supplement? Because that's what I'm doing.

I have both. TBR is WAY more in depth. WAY MORE in depth than TPR. They're god-like books on this forum.

That sounds like a good idea. It can't possibly hurt to be EXTRA good with the content ;-). I have heard the TBR stuff actually goes a little more in depth than the MCAT requires. That might even be good if you're studying with it before the class, cuz you can pare down your knowledge in the class.

Should I focus more on the TBR books than the TPR books then?

You should focus on passages! Double reading of text content is not the best use of your time. Find the text that matches your learning style and work from that book. But do passages from both sources if you have the time. The more exposure you get to questions, the better prepared you'll be.

yeah for sure try to get the main CONCEPTS down rather than every little detail known to man. Then apply them as much as you can through passages. For me TPR has been great for review, then TBR for passages is (hard) but great. Good luck with your studying!

The bio books are great quality. I was able to answer some random questions at lab meeting that made me look good.

Chemistry is too in-depth, Physics and O-Chem are okay.
