I purchased a complete set of used TBR books 2009 edition. I heard that TBR recently improved their physics books for the 2011 edition. How much of a difference is there? I do not live in the US, so if I was to purchase the new book from their website, I would have to pay expensive shipping costs.

On the other hand, I can find other, Kaplan or Princeton or EK, in local bookstores. Are the TBR books worth getting? Thanks.

If you have the money, get them. If you don't, don't.

Yes! Some opinions would be greatly appreciated! About to start studying and while I do have the 2009 Physics version, if I am told that the newer version is worth it, I am willing to spend the extra money, but I need to know ASAP!! Thanks!!

Look for the 2011 physics book used at SDN and you'll save money on shipping. It's crazy, but used BR books cost about the same as new but if you get them used then the shipping outside the US will be way cheaper.

As for whether it's worth it to upgrade the physics, the answer is a definite yes. For the other BR books, 2009 is fine. But for physics the text is much improved (especially the E&M section), there are answer explanations to the B-questions, there are new passages, new questions, improved explanations, and many of the tricks they teach in class are now in the new book.
