We wish to put a space station somewhere between the earth and the moon so that there is a minimal net gravitational force on the space station. Where should we place it?

A, closer to the moon
B. Closer to the earth
C. Exactly half way between
D. There is no such location.

I see why the answer is a but since the moon orbits the earth I first thought it would be d. It wouldn't be just one location but several since the orbit of the moon would constantly change its location.... Could anyone provide any insights?

I just would remember that moon's gravitational force is 1/6 of Earth's. I just thought of that when I looked at this question. Knowing that will also help you solve other problems you may run into with Moon and Earth G force
