Do you guys ever feel like the Examkrackers chapter tests are way harder than TBR ones? What I mean to say is, I feel like I understand and do well on the TBR tests and then when I go to do the Examkrackers for more practice, I bomb it. I don't get it because I've seen everywhere on SDN that if you can do the TBR stuff, you're golden.

pooooooooooooooooooooooo

Anyone else have this issue or am I just "special"?

TBR kicks my butt plenty. It is not easy at all for me. But I love it, esp their Bio passages. I am in the 7 to 9 range in those passages, sometimes 10. It is a good kind of pain. Haven't tried EK yet.....

Yeah, TBR was kind of brutal. Just last week I finished all of physics from TBR. First time around taking those tests, I got 8's mostly with a 9 or 10 in there.

Second time around when I'm going through material and retaking those tests, I'm scoring higher and really understand the concepts better. Figured I'll just shove EK to the side until later and really focus on a material that helps me learn the best.

Can't get bogged down!!

Gosh! I just finished TBR Phy as well this last weekend. First time for me. Have 2 chaps to go in Bio (on genetics) and then I will be done with Bio. Still have 2 TBR books to cover -,one each in OChem and GChem. I plan to do those EK 1001 and TPRSW books as well, to get in as much practice as I can. I feel the biggest gains I have made is really by solving questions...........

I also ordered the TBR Chemistry books and plan to start going through them next week. I'll stick to EK Biology since I usually don't have as big of a problem with bio. It's physics and chem that kill my score!!

Also, I have the EK 1001 books and quite frankly, they suck. The physics one in particular made me feel like I couldn't apply the concepts as compared to TBR questions. I got kind of spoiled with TBR!

How much did you pay for the TPRSW book and do you like it?

Got it from a colleague who works with me at the university. So essentially free. I am supposed to give it back to him after use so I have to use it nicely, no markings etc. I haven't touched it yet. I want to get done with TBR first. I will get through all of TBR material by end of this month. And will start doing questions from TPRSW and EK.

Are you talking about the EK in-class exams? Nothing compares to TBR Bios passages so while I'm getting average to below average in TBR Bio, I'm rocking EK Bio. However, I think that EK orgo and Physics are pretty difficult. EK is known to put a bunch of tricky questions and put in questions that deal with future chapter material, while TBR is more difficult in a general sense.
