Mike Tyson said it best 'Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.' That describes what just happened in the Work and Energy chapter. My content review has been amazing this far! I'm almost finished with Orgo, Chem, and Psych/soc, but this chapter just demoralized me. My scores range from 54% (lowest) to 66% on timed passages.

Anyways, today I got hit with a 5/25. I'm not even sure how that is possible, but can anyone shine any light on what I should do? The chapter made complete sense and nothing was out of the ordinary, but the passage questions made no sense to me. I have tried watching Khan videos, but I understand what they are talking about, but I can't seem to grasp these questions in TBR. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: If anyone has the book nearby, and cares to look. I understand why and how I got the answers wrong in Passage II and III, but passage I and the free standing questions ripped me a new one.

I don't recall which chapters kicked me in the crotch, but there were a few. The best advice is to hang in there with their passages and learn as best you can. I was averaging in the 60s through most of the homework sets and was starting to feel discouraged at some points. I couldn't have been happier with my actual MCAT. Just focus on learning their tips whenever they show up and you'll be fine in the end.

Thank you so much! I usually do the free-standing questions first and they definitely kicked me in the crotch on this one haha. If you don't mind me asking, what did you score on the MCAT? I would jump for joy if I score a 500+ but I am trying to aim for the sky.

Don't worry about it your %ages in the TBR passages. Worry about the AAMC QBanks and FLs.
