TCOM out-of-state interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I've already seen some "out of state" candidates here on campus interviewing. At times they sit in on our classes.

Good luck. You will love TCOM.

I'm an out of state candidate and I had my interview on 9/5 they called me for the interview approx 2 days after I submited my 2ndary. They will call throughout the interview process though which goes for a pretty long time.

Anyone know if you can become in-state while going to school there?

pretty much no
They are hardcore about the state residency in texas I did a lot of research the only way you can is if you lived there for 1 year previous to applying. They even question those that were Adopted in Texas for residency, as in they lived there but were adopted. (what I heard). The only way you could get a discount is through a scholarship aka you would get instate tuition for one year. Thats about it but the price of tuition for out of state is still very reasonable 26,000 approx. Cost of living is low.
