Hey guys, I am actually writing this because I am EXTREMELY confused about which school I should go to. Thankfully I got accepted to both CCOM and TCOM....the thing is I want the best possible opportunity to go into ANY program I might be interested in. That being said, rotations are very helpful when concerning networking and getting to know different hospitals for potential residency positions. I completely understand that CCOM has an AMAZING rotation program set up in Chicago (I live about 15 minutes away from the school) but the cost of JUST the schooling over the four years is going to be approximately 55 thousand dollars versus TCOM's 32,000 dollars. Hence, I want to find out more information regarding TCOM and how their rotations are set up. Anyone currently rotating or that has previously rotated with TCOM, please let me know what you thought of the rotations and how they were set up. Also, any advice regarding which school will give me more opportunities as a future physician...please let me know. Yes, I do prefer to practice in an undeserved urban population, but the cost of attending CCOM really throws me off...

The opportunities you will have will be similar. The amount of debt you'll accrue wont be.

FYI, CCOMs president has her own private jet... that should tell you where their focus lies. Dr. Goepenger (pres) is a shrewd businesswoman, and she runs the school just like that, as a business. Save yourself the money. Go to TCOM.

That's an $80,000 difference between the two schools over four years. How's it even a hard choice?
