i'm with seema, i think that teaching is the most wonderful thing in the world, and it is the possibility of a sustained teaching career (be it in the backdrop of a classroom, lab, hospital room or clinic) that is driving me in the direction of medicine (that and a zillion other things). i am actually enrolled in a princeton review class right now, and one of my instructors suggested that after the class and the august mcats are done i should perhaps explore the possibility of teaching physics and math with them. in my past experiences with teaching college physics and math (at the preceptor level) i think it is wonderful and the greatest. it is truly a higher calling.
