Hi guys,

I'm currently a tech at Walgreens right now, but I was wondering if you guys could shed some light on the continuing education hours for pharm techs. My PTCB certification's renewal date is Nov 2009 and I'm just a little confused about the whole continuing education process. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hey there,

I think you'll find this link to answer most of your questions:

If you've taken a science course in college, it counts as 15 of your 20 hours. It's easy to find free CE's online. I think everyone can use Pharmacy Technician's letter.

After you have your CE's done, just log into myPTCB and you can manually enter the information. You don't have to send anything (like a transcript for your college class) unless you're audited.
