stay far away from this industry and pass the word on. Look up telemedicine fraud. Thousands of doctors are getting accused of participating in medical fraud unknowingly because of these telemedicine companies giving the illusion that what they are doing is legitimate. Google it it’s all over the internet billion of dollar fraud cases the problem is most doctors were not in on the scam but are still getting charged for being mislead by these companies and a few doctors that helped the companies. It’s unfortunate that so many doctors have lost their licenses because of this. Be wise my friends and chose on location jobs to stay safe.

I never liked telemedicine. The first time I ever did a telemedicine visit was when the COVID lockdowns started and it was encouraged. Now that the virus is waning and the vaccine is available to anyone high risk who wants it, I think we need to scale it back, way back.

Most of my patients who opted for tele-visits during the lockdown have started choosing switch back to in person visits in recent months. Yesterday, I told my office manager that I want to end all telemedicine visits as soon as possible.

Telemedicine is problematic for many reasons. It doesn't surprise me that the fraudsters have jumped on this opportunity for their latest scam.

I did it when they offered bonus and I could hit 250/hr if I pushed hard. But without bonus, it would be like 150/hr. Knowing what I know about fraud, liability, etc I do not believe I will ever do it again.
