Tell me about UCI General Surgery Program?

I am an average medical student (step 1 <220, but pretty good clinical and 1st/2nd year grades, and decent/good LORS). What are my chances at getting into UCI's program? Also, is this a reasonably good program and will I get a good quality education that might result in competitivity for fellowship training in say something ridiculously hard to get into like plastics?

i think UCI is a great surgery training program.

they happen to have on staff one of the best laparoscopic surgeons in the world (ngyuen, probably mis spelled)

they also have an excellent plastics program
