Telling AMCAS that you will not take the August MCAT

On my amcas app. I put down that I will re-take the mcat in august. Now, if I no longer want to take the test in august do I call amcas and tell them that?

Also, if they have given my info to the designated schools, do I have to call each individual school and tell them that I will not re-take the test in august?
