During telophase, is uncoiling of the chromosomes occuring?
Kalplan says yes. But I think chromosomes are coiling back to the original state as is before the mitosis or miosis occurs. Anyone clarify this?

That's a matter of wording. It's more reasonable to say that DNA condenses and coils in preparation for mitosis/meiosis, and that in telophase they decondense or uncoil
