Temple Interview 2016

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I interviewed there last year, thought it was one of the more laid back ones, but they do spend a lot of time telling you about how great they are. I liked the way they did their interview but I ended up withdrawing my app after i got into an in state school. Just relax and make sure you read up on current events in PT and have things you can talk about. best of luck

Okay cool, thanks so much!

Hey all!

Has anyone been to Temple for the interview?? I heard it is a group interview but very intense so I just wanted to see others opinions!

I interviewed at Temple in September and got accepted not too long after. Overall, the interview day was great and very informational about the school. I didn't really think the group interview was all that "relaxed" or conversational but that could have just been my group. I was actually very nervous going in and I wasn't expecting it to be the way it was. Basically, there's one professor, about five-six current students, and six or seven applicants. You sit around a table and the students & professor take turns asking you questions until the time is up. I think I was asked about 4 questions. Some of them not being too bad just about what Temple DPT will do for you and what you liked about them to questions that asked you to give an example that showed some behavior (which I thought was tough when it was something unexpected and you had to think on the spot). I came out of the interview not thinking that I did very well but I was still accepted so just relax and be yourself and hopefully everything will work out!🙂

After the interview, you take a tour of the campus too which is nice and you then join the big group again to go over any questions that you may have. Everyone there is super nice!

Thanks so much!! I heard from others that it was intense and a bit intimidating but I am looking forward to it!

Mine was only 1 current student 5 or 6 of us interviewing and 2 professors I feel like we had more than 4 questions but it was a year ago, we also did our tour with a current student between the presentation and the group interview yours definitely sounds more intense
