I have an interview at temple next week and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of things to do/places to see while i'm there for 24 hrs.. This is my first time to PA, and frankly I've have seen very little of the US asides from a quick drive over the border to Seattle for a shopping trip.. Anyone else have an interview that day?

Hey! I had an interview already at temple (and the surrounding area is NOT a place to look around and do touristy things) However, I have an interview at Penn next week too and will be in philly again for 24hrs and this time would like to see/do a few things/ explore the city. What day is your interview? Mine is Thurs and I will be there Weds.

If I can give you any advise about interviewing at Temple, it would be to prepare yourself to meet Brian Hahn (spelling?). He is the guy that gives your presentation and tour...and he is kind of a jerk. I was there with about 9 other applicants, including girls, and he was swearing, telling dirty jokes, and bashing on the other schools people applied to. Don't let him ruin your interview. Temple has an amazing clinic, and it's being rebuilt and is looking awesome.

I have to disagree about that.
Brian is simply awesome (you can search it up in the forum, many people will agree with me).
I was accepted right before Christmas and I'm super excited about it.

My hotel was in the historic district area, and there are plenty of places to visit.
I visited the Liberty Bell, National Constitution Center, and Benjamin Franklin's grave before I head back home that night.
