I just got an email from temple for an interview invite, but on the email it said right away that the purpose is to fight for a spot for waitlisted. Here it is:
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the Kornberg School of Dentistry. Based on a thorough, preliminary review of your application, I would like to extend an invitation to interview for the waitlist.
Interviews will only be conducted on April 8th, 9th, and 10th from 9:00am to 4:00pm. If interested please call the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs at 1-800-441-4363 to schedule within the week.
The Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University is the fourth largest and second oldest dental school in the country. It maintains a strong clinical focus. Student doctors provide high quality, comprehensive dental care to thousands of patients each year. The volume and diversity of the patient population distinguishes this dental school. Due to the vast clinical exposure, our students are highly successful in clinical licensure examinations, are recruited into thriving dental practices (7000 alumni located coast to coast), and enjoy an impressive 90% match rate into post-graduate programs.
Enclosed are items that may be of interest to you. Please complete the Pre-Interview Summary and Confidentiality Statement which will be collected upon your arrival.
I wish you all the best in your decision making at this exciting time of your life.
Just want to know before I make the appointment tomo, what are the chance of getting in, if I DO get waitlisted?
