As fun as it is to look at the sums like a leaderboard, it really isn't especially useful. Or at least, the bottom sum isn't especially useful.

The right sum gives a sense of how someone is being read over the entire thread.

The most useful piece is honestly probably using it for pair analysis.

I'm sure @Zenge142 can comment more since he made the damn thing, but at least this is how I would utilize it, as someone who didn't design it. It is probably always going to be most useful for the person who designed it because they designed it to answer the questions they find important.

I would say there's a lot of value in the individual rows and columns, to see who's saying what about whom and how much.

Sort of how you'd use a microscope. Start with the Coarse broad information and then dig deeper into the fine grain information to see what's happening.

What would genny’s flip tell you over SAR’s flip?

See I feel like genny hasn't contributed as much to the thread as SAR has, and genny was never really a point of contention at EOD. So we have some data on SAR (her voting/unvoting patterns, how the EOD board votes flipped around with her up for contention, some interactions with kitz, etc.) but not as much on genny. Flipping genny could help us figure out if there really is some under the radar wolfing going on and, if she flips village, it might points us back in SAR/clem/wasp's direction.
If SAR flips village I don't know that that's super informative about genny. You know what I mean?
Does that make sense?

Right, I think we are saying the same thing--I would care more about the sum on the right side to get a sense of how someone is getting read overall, and then look at the interaction between the two players I'm specifically interested in

I guess when I get information from flips it’s usually like “if genny flips wolves these people are where I’d go next or these are the people that should be cleared from the push” and I feel like SAR has more information related to that then genny. You eliminate data points all the time, in analysis, if you feel they're outliers or otherwise obscuring the actual narrative.

Looking at climate change data for example you might be inclined to eliminate the months during the height of Covid when planes were mostly grounded and people were no longer commuting to work because of the lockdowns.

Popped on quick but this is not going to happen until the next day cycle, if I'm alive.

My surgery just took way longer than it should have with an absolute **** ton of complications with anesthesia and I have appointments now until after the cycle closes. Not an excuse, just a statement that I'm not going to be able to be on thread today.

I've already said, if I need to be the misyeet then so be it. I am a vanillager. If I get any spare time between appointments I'll try to pop in but it may not be likely. If anyone has specific questions that do not require as much time as this particular homework, I can try to answer what I can

It's interesting to consider. I mean I know his push on me is wrong and it didn't feel genuine, unlike say Kcalb who, while also wrong I feel is making a genuine push. I don't really believe his Santy push is genuine either.

I could be wrong, but, I'm free to explore the data at my leisure, so if I'm curious what it looks like without what could be white noise, I can take a peek.

Hate to tell you this but I am **** at reads lmfao. These are just my initial impressions. But fruit in particular I’m taking some context from other games but I need him to post more before feeling more comfortable with towning him 100%

Also since we haven’t played together, I exclusively play on mobile so I rely a lot on memory and other peoples solving/isos so just food for thought

I'm not personally not really seeing much of anything to warrant a town read but I don't want to jump to conclusions on just that
