Is anyone else as fed up with teachers using test banks as I am? I know they're used all the time for OChem and Biochem and the such, but it's frustrating because a test bank assumes the concepts presented on the test have been discussed in class and in many instances, they haven't been. Am I alone in despising classes that use test banks to test the students?

I believe it's a service that teachers use that prepares the exams for them --- there would be a database of questions for a particular topic, say OChem. The teacher then chooses the topics they want to cover on the exam and the program draws up a randomized exam.
