Test day: arrive early, start early?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yep, I started about 20 mins early this morning. They start you up when you get there.

It let me start early.
If you are schedule for the morning when you arrive thet start procesing you right there, if you want to start then you can start.
If you are an afternoon person then, if there is a computer avalieble then you can start faster also

My test was scheduled for 8:00. I visited my test site the day before the exam --- the proctors highly encouraged me to show up at 7:00 to ensure a "good seat" (a seat far from the door). I showed up at 7:00 and they let me start the test immediately --- an hour early! It was awesome. I was done by 3:00.

Same thing happened to me. I visited the site the friday before and they were adamant about me being there for 8:30 (I was scheduled for 9). I got there a few minutes before 8:30 thinking there was going to be some long sign in process. They looked at my ID, took my picture, I signed in at 8:33 and started the test.

The directions say to arrive 30 minutes before the test time -- if you're earlier than that, you might risk the center not being open. It would probably be best to contact the test center to be sure they'll be open if you have your heart set on starting early. I got to the test center at 7:25 and was able to start my exam right away.
