testing out of calculus

Has anyone here done it? Most people find pre calc harder than calc but still test out of pre calc however not many people test out of calc.

I tested into calc without ever taken precal. I don't even know what precal is so I don't think it's necessary to take it because I got an A in calc. I guess the stuff I learned from Trig was all it took to make it through calc.

Personally, I thought Calculus was easier than Pre-calc in high school. I took and passed AP Calc exam, so I really didn't have to take the calc again in college.
