Texas (4.0 GPA / no MCAT)

1. 4.0 GPA throughout
2. Will plan to take the MCAT in May; 500 diagnostic and 503 on second full length (not sure if this matters)
3. Texas resident in DFW
4. Arab American Male
5. University of Texas at Arlington
6. 3500 clinical hours, with 3000 coming from Scribing at an ED and the others coming from shadowing
7. 1000+ hours of research including publications. Many research projects have been completed with medical students and schools in Texas
8. 500 hours of shadowing nephrologists, orthopedic surgeons, and FM
9. 700+ hours volunteering at my mosque
10. Wrestling
11. I am planning to stay in Texas and mainly apply TMDSAS. I grew up in Texas for the majority of my life excluding some childhood years in the middle east.

The median MCAT for successful TX applicants is 512.1.
If your score is in that range, there is a good chance that you will matriculate.

I would like details on your activities, but I agree: focus on getting that MCAT into the 51x range.

Don't take the MCAT until you're fully ready. Focus on your content review, ANKI, UWorld, and self-paced review until you hit your target score(s). 2 months to improve your score from about 503 to 510+ is doable.
