There is a question that asks if I intend to work if I get into pharmacy.

The thing is, I don't know. I'd work part time if I could. If classes are too demanding, then I won't bother.

What did you guys put down?

I put down "no" since going to A&M means I would have to quit my current job. I think it would be a bit much for me to have to go to a new school and a new job at the same time, esp. since I don't know how hard pharmacy school is in the first year.

It seems like most people getting into the school would have to move (and thus quit their job).

I'm thinking that maybe they meant working in general (ie, finding another job), but who knows, they aren't very clear (they start off by asking if you worked during vacation from school).

Their residency section also has an error. They way it is worded, you have to do all of the questions if you *are* a resident, but it should be the other way around.

I put "yes" and 7 hours (one shift). Since I am working at Walgreens, I can always transfer to a different store. I think one shift won't be a problem for me.🙄

And you are right, it doesn't make sense to skip the questions if you are not resident, but I just follow the instruction and fill out all those.

I saw Kingsville during my interview, and there aren't that many pharmacies to work at.

I put down NO as well, I have heard from many advisors that the pharmacy schools prefer that their students rather not work unless its inevitable.
