I wouldn't give up at 7:00pm. I didn't get the interview invite until almost 9:00pm. Also, I went back and read some of the acceptances from last year and it appears that they send them out through the day so just because someone on here might receive one at 9:00am doesn't mean that someone else won't receive it at 9:00pm.

I'm no longer nervous about the situation. Unfortunately it took me since the interview to get to this point. I feel that we will all be classmates soon and I look forward to meeting all of you. (the power of positive thinking :laugh:)

lol, no im not home schooled. i enrolled in a dual credit high school.

i just tried to finish all my pharmacy pre-reqs before high school ended.
 
Yeah, I was a 2nd semester sophomore coming into college from hs (AP and dual stuff)... my problem was that there was no way i could fit the courses i still needed into my first year. Most of what I'm taking now is stuff I could have done in the summer if I hadn't been coming back for another yr of prereqs anyway. If I had decided on pharmacy sooner, I could have better directed my summer CC course focus back in hs.

I feel like I have gotten dumber every yr since my Jr yr of hs.
i went to school from 7 AM (tutorial/study time) until 7-8 pm (baseball) every day and was taking 3 AP classes (passed all 3 with a 4) as well as dual A&P with a teacher who was so afraid of being criticized as going easy on us that she made the class 3 times harder than it would have been on a college campus.

I'm hoping I can summon and re-channel that energy and dedication for pharmacy school. I actually talked about this at my interview (without mentioning that I am currently taking 13 hrs of required fluff courses and riding out my undergrad with ease).

College has been far easier than high school. In high-school I learned the stuff... in college I just cruise by on the stuff I over-learned in high school.

At least I'm 20 now though... have you even lost all your baby teeth?

I wish i could do that! I have to be in class at 8 am, so I get to wake up at 6 am 🙁 boo! I just want tomorrow to be over, my chest has been hurting since yesterday, i think from stress, b/c i have been stressing over getting accepted!

I've got an 8 o'clock that I probably ought to go to as well... its painting though... relieves stress... I usually walk in at around 9 anyway.
 
Pharmacy schools should take SDN participation rates into account as an admission factor.

By that count Knick is the top candidate for virtually every school in Texas.
 
I've been a member for almost two years. During most of that time, my count was fairly low. It just shot up dramatically in the past few months.
 
I only broke 100 a few days/weeks ago i think.

My understanding is that you will receive an e-mail and then a DHL package a few days later. Not sure if this is what they are going to do again this year but that is what has been done in the past. Good Luck!

They are sending e-mail today and DHL letter but may not get it until tomorrow or Monday

Which is why I brought up that it would be so amusing if they decided to hold things off for another week. You'd have all of us torn up, trying to figure out if we had all been waitlisted or if they just decided to put things off.

I was looking at the timestamps of old e-mails from A&M. My credentials update came at 3:30PM and my interview e-mail came at 6:30PM. Maybe they have a set time that they tend to send out mass e-mails, although they probably do things in small bunches.

Silver lining that I'm working today. Other than the fact that I'm bloody tired right now from last night and this morning, at least I'll be occupied for most of the day.

Randomly: Why DHL? Why doesn't A&M use the USPS, FedEx, or UPS?

I went and checked my interview email time... 9:18 PM 😡 thats a long time to wait... and an awful random time to send things like that.

YESSSSSSS i do. its quite nervewracking!!!

and they sent my interview invite friday night at 8:39pm!🙁

i work all day after 2 so i guess in a way thats a good thing.

i want to call in to work just so i can lurk here all day until we hear something!😛

but i do i get the feeling it might be next week until we hear, oddly enough👎
 
I just called them to see if they were in fact going to send them out today. They said they had a computer glitch and once they solve it they'll email the acceptances out. They are trying today, but worse case scenario is no later than Monday

Oh well, I guess it's a crap shoot now as to whether we'll find out today or not. I guess we can all just keep tormenting each other by bumping the thread up. I don't think I've been so excited and disappointed so many times in one day.

Seriously!!!! I've been refreshing my inbox every 10 minutes!! I can't do anything except wait for that letter. Do they send u a letter even if you dont get in? I hope they do just so I dont wait around all freakin day! good luck people :luck:

They don't send out rejection letters so if you don't get an acceptance, you are basically on a wait list until classes start. Only after classes start, will you know that you are rejected. (I'm sorry, not accepted. It sounds so much nicer than rejected.)

Haven't you accepted the offer yet? You can temporarily accept the offer online and send the guarantee fee right before the deadline so you still have time to wait for A&M.

Hmm... We should elect one person to call and find out. Would be great to know without overwhelming them.

Considering that they told everyone April 4th, I imagine that they still might get it out today.

Yeah... never wanted to do that... but i just did...

The actual letter/forms is somewhere in the mail between my permanent address and my college address.

We should have had this idea before 5. Of course they wont answer after 5 on a fri... but from our interview notices we know they like to send these out after 5.

Speaking of local restaurants... I'm gonna go to one... I'll let you know if I see anyone important... and I might drive by the bldg and look for signs of life.
 
either that are they are not answering the phone since its after hours... I really hope its a just a delay in the email...... blah! well I am going to go drink away my anxiety.. lol j/j 🙂 I'll be back to check on here in oh about 10 min.. ha ha
 
all of what i see among the posted interview email reciepts came 8:30-9:30. It could be that Dr. Robertson leaves some of his dedicated staff slaves to do all the technical stuff after hours... they could schedule the system to send the emails out after hours (I've no idea why)... they could have already pressed send and the emails don't process and whatever emails do until later.

Sometimes I get school mass emails an hour before my roommate... but thats with like thousands of addresses... this is only 90.... but they likely have attachments.
 
Is it just 90, or do they let people know if they have been waitlisted/delayed rejection? I would hate to not get any type of info whether it is good or bad.
 
The way I understand it... we are all agonizing over the top 90 spots... then as each one of those rejects one by one 91, 92, 93... etc get offers.
 
They only send out the acceptance letters, you don't get a letter if you are waitlisted/not accepted.


So it should only be 90 assuming they did not send any early acceptances to anyone.
