I have a question regarding my chances for admission to a Texas medical school. I recently moved to Texas from Pennsylvania about two months ago. I understand that I will not be considered a Texas resident for the 2016 application cycle. However, I work in the Texas Medical Center and have an established address here, as well as family. If I apply as a non-resident and note my circumstances, do you think that will improve my chances as a non-resident. I wish I had thought of this early because I know applying ASAP would have helped my chances. Any advise/comments are appreciated.

Call up some of the Admissions deans and ask.
