The Lone Star Caucus is a doctor's organization that represents the TMA (Texas Medical Association ) members in 5 of the most rural TMA districts. These districts are in west and northwest Texas. The caucus members attend TMA meetings to make sure rural physician interests are well represented.
Their scholarship application is open to MS3 and MS4 students in Texas medical schools who intend to serve rural patients.
The scholarship is one-time, non-renewable.
