Texas programs?

I'm having to pare down my interview calendar due to colliding dates. I've heard anecdotally that TX programs heavily favor those who are originally from and/or attended med school in TX- is this really the case? I ask because knowing this may come in handy when I'm picking between interviews. I know you're supposed to rank according to which ones you actually like, but as far as scheduling interviews, I don't want to favor a bunch that are unlikely to rank me anyway.
