I just spoke with Mike Schwettmann. He said the AdCom is still meeting, but they may not finish today. He still expects the first round of acceptances to go out this week, but it could be Thursday instead of tomorrow!

Let's all keep our fingers crossed that they finish today and everyone gets what they want.

Thanks for the update romy!!!!!!!. I know it is hard for them to finish the process. I have been preparing food rations and ammunition for battle against my emotions tomorrow.

I REALLY REALLY hope they finished today, but if not, I dont blame them, its A LOT of apps this gotta look over

Oh god, I have done so much stress eating. It started about 2 weeks before the interview and has not let up. I hope I get my answer tomorrow, so I can celebrate and stop stuffing carbs in my face!

me too but I've been stress working in the lab. I'm not taking classes this semester b/c I really need to take a break from all the stress of my grad program but now I'm stressing over the interviews! So to take my mind off the interviews I've been working in the lab like crazy! Today I organized all the western stuff and cleaned around the pH meter (gross! :barf:). Tomorrow I wanted to defrost the -80 fridge but yeah that's a lot of work :smack: I didn't realize that I was doing all this work b/c I've been stressing until u said something. My pi is right I need to do more exercise to get my mind calm. At least you find out soon; I still have two more weeks! 🙁

Good luck bear girl. I think they said something at Amarillo that if they have room. they will fit in some 2/1 interveiwees into todays decision. But they might not send out letter today,.

IF anyone recieves an email today please post? I cant check my email at work 🙁 Thanks!

Ahh! I wish I can do that. When I get nervous, I lose all my appetite. I REALLY HOPE THEY FINISHED YESTERDAY LOL
 
Just called the school, They said that they are still int he process of reviewing. She said it would take couple of more days.
 
Guys, my merlin was updated. under applicant status, my "interview" and "oath of residency" tabs are all updated to copmlete. but my status still sayings" invited for interview" :scared::scared::scared: Does anyone else have a status that says thsi?!!? Im about to lose it. I think if you got it, it would say something like "awaiting seat deposit or somethibng"

also when did you interview? Mine says interview complete and oath of residency completed on 2/6...
 
Sorry Recover, I saw your post this morning but had to wait for confirmation email to reply.

I had the same status updates, under application status review my oath and interview show complete 2/5/13. I interviewed Jan 25th. Whether or not it means anything, or if mine says the 5th because alphabetically Im higher up on the list, who knows. I have been very anxious for updates as well, but have resigned myself to the fact that they will email us when they are ready to.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.
 
I interviewed 1/11. My residency oath and interview show completed as of 1/28. It still shows as invited for interview. Admissions offer shows no status still.

Hi MrsRick. dont be sorry! Thanks for updating! I might have come off as a little excited rude hahah I'm am just stressing out really bad. I hope we all get in! how possible is that! 🙂 I interviewed obn Jan 25th as well! I hope we hear back soon!

My applicant review status shows my oath of residency and interview were "received" on 1/28. I interviewed 1/11 in Abilene. I hope we hear something soon!

Good luck Pharmdhopefully. I am just worried becuase if they updated our merlin, it means they "met and decided" but according to last years thread, they also updated the status to acceptance pending or something.

Idk, I am over thinking it........

Yeah you're over-stressing! No one has heard anything as far as I know so we'll be fine. I'll start posting on here more about what I find out. I'm actually in kingsville for an interview today so I hope I get accepted before the interview at a&m!
 
I don't want to call and bug them, especially since I spoke to Mike about something else the other day.... But I am dying to get some answers.
 
Does anyone else have no status for college transcript? Everything else says complete but that for me.

I think we will hear sooner or later so don't stress out too much. The answer will come.

I also have an interview at a&m today. I rode the greyhound to get to kingsville. Im a bit worried to get to the school from there just in case I cant call shuttle or taxi.

Will some kind soul willing to give me a quick ride there ? Lol.

Romy, we should assign different people to role of calling every week hahahah that way they can tell it;s different people calling LOL. I've picked up depression eating. by the time I hear back from Texas tech, ill be like 600 pounds

I'll be hoping with you. Right now Im eating at work.....hittin refresh like mad! they said they will email us so ive been hittin that up like crazy. Romy, you've been active on this forum since it started. I think your dedication willl pay off.

Don't worry about the 5 pounds, you'll lose it when you start schoool, I guarentee it lol

I'm in same boat as all of you. I interviewed in Abilene on 1/11 with updates in merlin on 1/28. Hopefully we do hear something soon!
 
Yahoo said I had 2 new e-mails. My heart about stopped. I click. American Airlines and Orbitz. There was an exclamation of profanity.
 
Guys, I just realized that they are conducting more interviews tomorrow. If they don't finish looking over our apps today, they will not have time until after the interviews...😱:scared:😳

Hey buorin, who were you at the a&m interview today? I was the white guy with glasses sitting at the end of the table during the student q&a part.

My interview was at 2:30. I was the only one not wearing a black suit. I had on a grayish suit.
