Any news about the first round of interviews?
for january interviewees: the adcom met yesterday and made the decisions..they're gonna send out the acceptance letters on either friday or monday...so u'll know next week if u got in...

Is all we need to bring to the interview is our immunization record, chicken pox form, and deployment choice form, correct?

Yes. I think you would first find out through US mail and then they post it on the Merlin admission status 10 days after they send the actual letter.

I was also at the Feb 04 interview in Amarillo. I remember being told that they were meeting that upcoming Tuesday and that they were going to try to squeeze us in to the adcom meeting. Since the meeting didn't happen till one week later, I hope they were able to put us in!
Yeah I think the Feb. 4th interviewees were counted in with the january interviewees.

I wonder when they meet again for the next round of acceptances.

They meet again the first week of March (next week) and will discuss the February 11th, 18th, and 25th interviewees AS WELL AS all the January interviewees that have not previously been accepted and were put back into the pot. Decisions will be mailed out March 4th.
That's all if everything stays on schedule!

Myself and 3 other January interviewees live in the Amarillo area and none us have received a letter. I figure the mail should get to us first, if any of us are accepted that is.

Yes, there are interviews in March! I think there are interviews every weekend of March if I'm not mistaken. I just meant that the next time they meet, it will cover everyone who's interviewed from February 25th and earlier. I'm sure they will meet several more times after the March interviews are completed. Sorry for confusion!

No problem! I think they said at the interview that, total, they interview close to 300. So that makes the odds a LITTLE better lol. Good luck!

lol that's MUCH better for all of us!! i'm starting to wonder then if february 25th is the last interview..i know in the website it says they have 3 interviewes in march but if they're only interviewing 300 people, by the end of february, they will have already interviewed about 290 people (if each interview had 48 seats- 24 amarillo + 24 abilene). Plus I haven't seen anyone in this forum talk about an invite for march interviews...i definitely could be wrong though...this waiting process is making me overanalyze everything haha!!

I go to tech currently and unfortunately you guys will most likely be waiting till mid to end of the week to get letters if you got in. Dr. Nelson likes to personally sign every offer of admission and send out the snail mail letters full of confetti (so be careful opening it over carpet since it can make a mess) good luck to everyone.
Can you post a message here if you guys get the letter? That would be wonderful for all of us because you're probably going to get them before anyone else. Thank you!

I feel anxious to know too but I probably won't find out till second week of March. So if we don't hear anything by that time frame then we can just assume that we were tabled?

Really? There were only 18 of us when I interviewed in Abilene and I remembering them saying they only interview 18 at a time in Abilene and 24 in Amarillo. I may have heard wrong.

Based on what was told to the jan 28 interview, when they do that it is a hint that you need to get it in because you are/will get accepted. Congrats in advance!
