Texas tech Lubbock
Pros:
Most established program with a great match list
Lowest cost of living and attendance
Huge hospital so great opportunities for clinical exposure and research
Cons:
Lubbock is my least favorite city out of El Paso and Forth Worth
Traditional curriculum is less preferable to the innovative curriculum in El Paso and TCU
H/Hp/p/f grading
Texas teCH EP
Pros:
Interesting curriculum
P/F unranked
Low cost of living and attendance
Great city
Cons:
Not as much research as Lubbock in case I’m interested in competitive specialties
I’ve heard there is high turnover rate among faculty (but students seem happy)
TCU
Pros:
Innovative curriculum
Small class size
Great location
Faculty seems to be super passionate and supportive of students
Also get all the resources TCOM have
Cons:
Very high cost 57k
Unestablished school that has not even had clinical rotations yet
