PLease help me with this silly question for my best friend, those of you who have had interviews with Tech. My friend will be interviewed next week and all he's depressed with right now is something he calls a test during the interview. I don't know if it's like a unit-conversion test or biol test... I've been through the "depression" stage of pre-interview and post-interview and I am sure we all have. So please, if someone had interview with Tech this year already, please let me know what type of test they asked you to do on the interview so I can help my friend out. I'd truely appreciate it a lot! Thanks in advance!

it's basically just a logic test. it's nothing at all to worry about. you can't study for it anyway. tell him to relax, what's he depressed about? having an interview?

I personally did not apply to Tech as the Ammerillo is a bit limitted to services. I kept convincing him to go to Mercer or UH with me but he likes Tech.. But anyway, he doesn't have internet access at his apartment so I am the connection guy here. Is it a math test or a test where they presented you a situation and you have to write an essay to argue for it? I in no way ask for the specific questions. I just need to know the format of it (as I've heard also from 2 people yesterday in my biochem class that they were worried about that test also--kindda curious now what it is) The only tests I've been through during my last interivews were essays topics only. Thanks in advance :)

you can tell your friend I'll also be there for the 23rd interview.

Just let him know that obviously no one going in has a real idea of what is on it so to just do his best and see what happens. I had the same situation take place at Ole Miss this past week where it was a logic test to see if you know what is based on fact or assumption etc.

as I said, it's not math or science, it's a logic/reasoning test.

nothing to worry about, it's just a multiple choice test. Separately from the test, there is an essay to write, but they are over separate things, and I have no idea what the essay will be over.

and I think it's spelled, Amarillo...

Tell him to not freak out, the test isn't a big deal and you can't study for it.
We have another posting titled "Texas Tech" that you can read or ask questions of TTU pharm students as well. He should just relax. :)

you mean your imaginary friend? You actually have no friend, you are just making up that this is for your friend becuase you are insecure to share your fear for this interview

Yeah I interviewed on 1/25 so I am like mad scorching every single Tech thread there is!!

Sweet. Did you like it? I interviewed on 2/1 at Amarillo and enjoyed it. I am just a bit nervous about living in such a small city. I'm kind of concerned about how conservative of a town it may be. I opted for 2 yrs in AMA and 2 in DFW.
