  1. Pre-Veterinary
I have been given the opportunity to regularly volunteer/shadow at a local mixed animal clinic over the summer. The veterinarians are extremely enthusiastic about teaching me and allowing me to gain hands-on experience; they really have gone above and beyond to help me get the most out of my time with them. I feel like I've hit the pre-vet jackpot with this clinic and the veterinarians there.

In order to show my appreciation, I want to give them a thank you card and perhaps a small gift at the end of the summer. But...I'm kind of stumped as to what would be an appropriate gesture for this sort of thing.
What kind of appreciation gifts have you given to clinics you've worked with? Any ideas?

Edit to add:
It is a rather large clinic, with 5 veterinarians. However, I primarily shadow only 3 of those veterinarians.

I agree with the idea of food. We always appreciate getting food.

I made cookies from scratch for the office to share as a token of appreciation. Also made it a point to verbally thank them when I left each day.
