As I've watched this forum gradually turn over to a new cycle of applicants, I'm reminded of the worries and questions I had just months ago.

Thank you, LizzyM, for your guidance and support over the past twelve months.

You posts are valuable insights into an opaque process, and I want to let you know how much I've appreciated the time that you sacrifice doing this, year after year.

Come May 15, your only reward for a year of effort seems to be another set of bewildered applicants. But it is your willingness to stick around and start over, again and again, that really sets you apart.

Sure, some school use twitter and podcasts and talk about openness in admissions. But what you do here singlehandedly trumps all that, and apparently has been for years.

Thanks so much for being here with us.

Seriously. Most valuable asset to SDN.

LizzyM always has great advice. Thanks! Should add Catalystic to this also.

Truly and sincerely, thank you.

Is Catalystik also an ADCOM?

Also, there should be an annual LizzyM Day. . . Then, we can bombard her with tons of questions lol.

Ditto to what everyone else has said.

mangomadness likes this. 🙂
really tho, it is great to have someone with her knowledge on here.

LizzyM. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

LizzyM is truly the most valuable asset that SDN has. Thank you!

I don't know. But Catalystik has given advice on nearly every "What are my Chances?" thread and also provides very constructive feedback.

LizzyM, as almost everyone on the pre-allo thread knows, is absolutely amazing.

This is just a big circle-jerk of suck ups.

Without LizzyM and Catalystic, this board would just be a big circle jerk of clueless pre-meds. Naturally, we are gracious for their contributions.

Speak for yourself.

Going to toss in my own thanks here to both LizzyM and Catalystik; we could never get too many knowledgeable, helpful people like them 🙂

👍👍

If I was in there position, I'd probably be tried of hearing the same questions over and over. But they keep doing it, so, one more time...👍

I'm glad someone made this thread! A big thanks to LizzyM and everyone else who have been so helpful.

I confess, up until now I thought the lady on LizzyM's avatar was some great writer that I was oblivious to, or something of that nature.

Actually, she was Truman Capote's aunt.

I was looking for an avatar that would give the impression of maturity (I'm older than most pre-allos but not as old as the fruitcake lady who was in her 90s when she died a few years ago).

That really narrows it down... you're older than 25, but less than 95 (leaves ONLY 70 years in-between).

I loved the fruitcake lady segment on Jay Leno.

Thank you for all your posts. They are great.
