Do you guys all send thank-you notes/emails to the interviewers/admission committee after the interviews? A student from CCOM told me that it's really not necessary so I'm not sure what is right to do 😳

I think most interviewers submit their decisions immediately after you leave the room, so a few days later and you are no longer on their minds (at least for my previous interviews).
That being said, a thank you note is a courtesy that I feel is warranted to show appreciation for someone who volunteered to review your application, take time off of what is most likely and already hectic schedule, and argue as your advocate for medical school... I think it is classless to fail to at least send an email thank you note, but that's my opinion.
I did send thank-you emails but I was just wondering whether it's a common practice to do since the student told me that it's not.
Meh. I didn't want it to come off like I was sucking up and a CCOM student also advised me not to do it. It must not have mattered because I was accepted today.
Frankly, as an interviewer, I just ignore them.
