thank you notes for phone interview?

I had an a phone interview for a summer internship at hopkins.. do you think I should have sent a thank you note? At first I was going to, then I thought it would be strange, now I think I may have made a mistake..what you guys think?

If I were you, I would send a thank-you note...because we are the one looking for the job, and they are the ones who have the power to offer that job. Also, even if it's a phone interview, you would never know if they care/don't care about the thank-you note...so just send it...what would be the worst case? Getting accepted?

yeah i probably should have.. unfortunately it was two weeks ago.. ohh well i'll talk it up as a lesson learned.
