Sort of a trivial question but I was curious what the protocol is following med school interviews. After a job interview I'd send out a thank you card but what do I do for med? Send an email? If so, to whom? The admissions office or the particular physician that interviewed me?

Some people have different opinions regarding this issue. There are more threads like this here too, if you want to search.

I have had interviews at DO schools, and I hand wrote a thank you card to the admissions office. This is what I did, and I'm sure other people will share you there experience.

I sent a hand-written letter to each of my interviewers (3 person panel). My school's pre-med office more or less told us that we had to send thank you notes to the interviewers. Also, written letters are more personal. I also ncorporated something specific for each of the interviewers in the letters.
