I heard that last week on SDN somewhere, I gave it a shot, sure enough Nov 3 I will interview in NJ.

my hunch is...the schools don't need to schedule interviews for those many, many months ahead yet. No need to rush. They only have limited interview spots left. They might now want to wait a bit, and see what types of applications come in from now til Dec. THEN, they'll decide who they should fill up the remaining interview slots with.

Hey who did you speak to at UMDNJ, or what number did you call?.. I called the one listed on AADSAS and was told that they dont give application status over the phone and that you wont be updated of any missing info unless they were going to give you an interview...

Strange, I have never called before, not even once, I just called one afternoon and asked what is up with my app, and she said are you interested, I said, Yeah I am calling right, she said she would try to help me out.

Then the next day she called and gave me a choice of dates. I chose one.

From what I recall amsie,you submitted your application rather late. Unless you sent it in June, you really shouldn't be flipping out about invites...it takes a while!

And by 'late' I mean July/August....according to SDN keeners. You'll be fine, just take it easy!

Mine was sent out after hers, and I've heard back a long time ago. But the others are taking their time. I think I'm going to stop checking the mail everyday but rather every week. It's not good for a person's mental health. I think Amsie should check her mail weekly too!

good news! u can't give urself an ulcer from stressing. it's a certain bacteria, i forget what... stress does exacerbate the ulcerated stomach though. of course i could be wrong. keep your head up!
