Over the years I have read your postings with a smile and the occassional eye roll. But last night my time reading about numerous trips to Dave & Busters (a business not present in ND) paid off! At bar trivia we were asked to name the 4 states that share a border with West Virginia (not including Virginia). All your hatred of Pittsburgh helped me name PA, and I was pretty sure you talked crap about Ohio. The other two I got on my own. But I owe you a beer the next time you get to Fargo. Thanks!

For some reason, that question winds up in every trivia game ever made. Oddly, most people know Ohio and Pennsylvania. Maryland is usually the one that throws them off.

Yeah, I feel like it shouldn't count as a border. It's like a ten mile stretch going down I-81. Kinda like the entire state of Delaware.

Meh, not quite...81 goes through one of the skinniest parts of the border...it's actually about 200 miles of border.

I did a project on the state of Maryland in the 4th grade. The state's name reminds me of my lovely, dear Aunt Marianne. 😍 (She's my fave!)
