This almost seems like a troll post.

You have free tuition at Cleveland Clinic? You should go there, and it's not even a debate. Cleveland Clinic is very prestigious, and even if there is some miniscule difference in prestige, that difference is blown out of the water by the idea of free tuition. At every other school on your list, you'll take out hundreds of thousands of dollars for the same prestigious degree, and none of the schools will provide any additional benefits for the extra cost. Free tuition, no grades, no rankings, and no AOA at one of the top hospitals in the country is every med student's dream.

UW is the only school that could be up for debate because it is also cheap, a top 30, and closer to family. However, I still don't think that is worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars you will pay to go there.

Also KCOM should not even be listed. All 4 other schools blow it out of the water, you're not IS, and letter grading sucks.

Sometimes I feel like pre-meds overanalyze schools pros and cons.

Of your list, the MD schools are all great. Take location, price, and personal fit into account, and just pick one. Sounds like from your list you like Pitt and CCLCM the best. Wait for financial aid offers and go from there.

I promise I'm not trolling, you can check my post history.

The reason I have it is because of a strong family and family friend connection and really meshed with the students. I'm also interested in primary care/ID so I wasn't sure if that would be a big deal.

I will definitely more heavily consider CCLCM though.

Thank you!

How significant is the SO ? Maybe not the best way for me to ask that but that would be the only thing that might make me question choosing CCLCM.
I would say fairly important. They're not opposed to visiting/moving where I go once COVID clears up, but I'm not sure how important that immediate support network would be during medical school.
