(This thread is excrutiating! It's permitting my totally unhealthy obsession and insecurities. But it's like crack and yet I can't stop myself from checking it relentlessly.)
Have you ever felt you should cut down on time spent at sdn?
Have people annoyed you by criticizing your relentless "refreshing" of this thread?
Have you ever felt bad or guilty about your time here and not with your significant other?
Have you ever woken up and gone to sdn first thing in the morning to steady your nerves (eye-opener)?
No away rotations at UCSF and I don't go there. Heard from them ~3 wks after I submitted. Probably the nicest e-mail invite so far. What's the deal with UCSF, I noticed a number of people getting invites in october before the MSPE. Isn't it the most competative IM program in the country. Did the people who get invites do away rotations there or go to school there?

AOA, Upper 240's on Step 1, Step 2 in 2 weeks, Mid Tier School.....
Does anybody know if Upenn and/or Duke is still sending out interviews or did they pretty much send one large email to all their acceptances??
Good luck all!
) I was going to schedule it the last week of January. Your stats are awesome I will be very suprsied if you don't get an invite. The dates left at Duke are:
12/3
1/11
It's an honors society based on grades, clinical performance, and I think extracurriculars as well. Some schools don't hold elections for it until after applications are finished, but for those that do, getting AOA can be a big deal on your app. I don't know how much of an impact not having AOA is...
You can probably do a search on it in the med school forums for better info.
What are the BIDMC interview dates?
