The -ases (biochemistry)

Can you guys collectively provide me with a list of the enzymes you learned about from biochem?

I can't find them all in my huge notebook.

What I remember is...

Transferase = transfers functional group
Synthetase = forms a bond connecting 2 molecules
Polymerase = polymerizes nucleic acids

I know there's more but can't think of them off the top of my head. If you could help me out I'd appreciate it.

The original IUPAC enzyme classification system actually includes 5 fundamental types: Oxidoreductases, Hydrolases, Transferases, Lyases, Isomerases and Ligases.

Polymerases would fall under 'Transferases' since they add phosphate groups to the growing strand.
